What a great place to learn tango! The instructor Leo gives instructions very clearly and with a great dose of humor. Just in a few minutes, you start dancing almost like a pro. If you come without a partner, Leo makes sure that you have one (just come to a class a bit earlier). Thank you, Leo, for creating a fun atmoshpere in your classes!

I've been coming to Leo's tango classes for 4 years now (minus COVID). The atmosphere is very friendly and inclusive. You'd be surprised how many different people you could meet there. Leo himself is energetic, enthusiastic, and his classes are fun. Hope he isn't retiring any time soon.

Leo teaches in a way that will enable you to advance in your tango journey. He teaches Argentine tango in its musical and social cultural context…not just tango steps!He knows both the lead and the follow and can help bring your dance to a higher level! Leo is a wonderful tango teacher that I recommended to everyone, his classes are super-fun and entertaining during the class students rotate their partners every few minutes, so we can meet lots of friends.You will learn how to express feelings and communications and also have more respect for others, which may open the doors to happier relationships.it is also a great opportunity to have a common hobby with someone special.I am glad to attend his tango classes and found a new passion in my life.On weekends, I often dress up and attend Milonga (dance social) with my wonderful tango friends.It definitely changed my life into a more joyful one with so much fun!I have also invited my female friend to the class and she enjoyed them!

I am beginning my sixth year of lessons with Leo & Marina. They are both excellent teachers and make the whole tango experience so enjoyable. I do many activities but thanks to them tango is by far my favorite thing to do and it has become my passion. As well they are both professional dancers, and with Leo's ability to choreograph dance, I have been given the opportunity to be in a performance group which is great fun. I've know Leo for over 20 years and this guy is obsessed with everything Tango! He is an easy going teacher, breaks things down and works very hard to promote this beautiful culture (it's more than just a dance) to Calgarians. He offers basic classes but also performance opportunities to his students. He just never stops when it comes to Tango. We have collaborated on many occasions... not only is he a great professional teacher, but he approaches people and the dance business with integrity. A class act!

Leo was my 1st Argentine Tango teacher nearly 15 years ago and I still do lessons with him today.His classes are fun and informative for beginners and advanced students alike. Hands down the top instructor of Calgary for tango classes. Very professional, great teacher, efficient and effective learning style to achieve dancing results. On time and punctual and very grounded. Leo really gets into his craft and will work with you until you master whatever goal you have. Can’t recommend enough!
